Hey everyone π
Just wanted to share a quick mini case study from one of my recent local lead-gen sites (Plumbing niche).
The site is just 1 month old, and hereβs the data from Google Search Console.
Not bad for a fresh domain, right? π
Now hereβs the interesting part β I didnβt do any heavy black hat or PBN. What really made the difference was solid niche research β choosing the right local keywords and service areas with decent volume but low competition.
After that, all I focused on was Solid NAP Consistency and High-Quality Local Citations across top Directories. Citations helped the site get indexed faster and start showing up for local intent keywords like βemergency plumber near meβ and βplumbing service in [city name].β
Many people underestimate citations, but in local lead-gen, theyβre like your Foundation for ranking in maps and organic results. Once Google sees consistent business info across the web, it builds trust faster and boosts local visibility.
β οΈ Iβve noticed many people jump into black hat or PBNs hoping for quick earnings β but that often leads to penalties and lost domains. If youβre planning to build a long-term, stable local website, then Local Citations and Foundation Backlinks are more than enough to start generating calls and leads safely.
If anyone here is building local lead-gen sites (especially in home services, HVAC, plumbing, or restoration niches), I can share my citation process and even help with manual USA local citation building β it really speeds up indexing and map visibility π
Just drop a comment or DM if youβd like to see the full list I use.
