I’ve had my Reddit account for two years. Now I’m looking at it differently. 😂 I found people struggling to build and submit an app without a Mac. Questions, frustrations, and roadblocks I recognized because I just lived through them. That’s market research without sending out a survey. 🔎 What are people repeatedly getting stuck on? 🛠️ What have they already tried? 💬 What words do THEY use to describe the problem? I’m exploring it as a way to connect with potential clients too. But a frustrated comment isn’t automatically a buyer. My approach is to listen, contribute something useful, and respect each community’s rules before sharing an offer. Nobody ordered a sales pitch with their question. 😂 You don’t have to reveal your whole product idea to do this. Search for the problem it solves. Your little research mission: Find three Reddit posts about the same problem and write down what keeps coming up. That repeated pattern is worth investigating. 🧡

When you build something, you already know where everything is. Your customer doesn’t have that little map in their head. Try a five-minute test: 🧪 Give someone one task, like finding a lesson or submitting a sample report. 🤐 Let them try without explaining where to click. Whew. That part takes discipline. 😂 📝 Notice where they pause, go backward, or ask, “What does this mean?” That hesitation gives you something specific to improve. Maybe the button needs a clearer name. Maybe the next step is missing. You can use a sample screen with made-up information. No secret sauce required. 🧡 Your action: Let one person try one task in your product without coaching, and note the first place they get stuck.

Follow me down this rabbit hole 🕳️ Someone just built an app that lets ChatGPT and Claude talk to each other in one group chat, I saw this on Reddit. One model leads, the other reviews, and then they compare notes. I've been doing THIS 👀🤷🏾‍♀️ by hand for a year. This is my way to get a second opinion or a different perspective and find “Gaps” . I use ChatGPT to check claims and contracts and Claude to build, and I carry the answers back and forth between them. Three lessons from this: 1. Your daily workaround may be a product. If you've been doing something by hand for months, someone may already be building it. That someone could be you. That's Pattern2Products Thinking 🥸 2. Two models catch more than one. Each AI misses different things, and the places where they disagree show you what to check. 3. Stay the human in the loop. Automation moves faster, but it also passes along weak ideas faster. When you do the relay yourself, you choose who leads, what gets passed along, and when the answer is good enough. New tools need time to mature. Your judgment doesn't.
