States’ Rights (Controversial)?
The 10th Amendment holds (paraphrased) “all rights not granted in the U.S. Constitution are reserved to the States” New Jersey, where I live, has a different culture and economy than Texas, for instance.
In other words, just because the Constitution does not explicitly say a specific right does not mean you don’t have them. Each State has autonomy to a large extent.
How is your State unique? Should States be left alone to run themselves from the Capital, Washington D.C. ,which may be far away and unresponsive to their particular region’s needs?
