How Do You Pursue Happiness? (Or Entitled to it)?
Do You believe our U.S. Founders, Thomas Jefferson specifically ( along with Ben Franklin, on the Declaration of Independence committee), believed we have a Right to happiness?
For instance, universal healthcare, college, add a house and car to that!
Or are “we endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights . Among these Life, Liberty, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS! “(Declaration of Independence)?
What does the Pursuit of Happiness mean to you?
I’ll start. We have to work for “stuff/property”. Communists nations lie saying everyone will have same (each according to their ability, to each according to their needs) (Karl Marx). Don’t believe it works in reality. Look at the former USSR and Castro’s Cuba!
