Summit Preview 002 // Walk In Authority
Doctors told him she was the sickest person in the hospital.
He said himself that there’s no way that she should be breathing NOW.
's mother called him and told him something that changed everything: Whether Melissa walked out of that hospital would be determined, in a large part, by his spiritual leadership.
He realized that from the outside, his family looked strong.
But spiritually, he had to rise to another level.
He took it to heart. And he went to war.
He walked the hospital — praying and proclaiming.
Not begging the Lord. Proclaiming with faith, conviction, and authority.
And as he walked in unabashed faith, miracle after impossible miracle happened.
Doctor's lost their sh/t. Because it wasn't possible.
Gabe's lesson struck me to my core: If we’re to claim the life we desire for our wife, our children, our family — it all comes down to our spiritual leadership. And that’s bigger than knowing scriptures, showing up for the rituals, and praying when life is hard. Those are important.
It’s taking God at His word strongly enough that it changes the way you live. Knowing His word. Living by it. Standing in authority. Facing the impossible knowing that you are backed by His authority. And taking action — no matter what.
Your wife needs that kind of man.
Your children need to see that kind of man.
If your children modeled their relationship with God entirely after yours
what would it look like? And is that what you want for them?
This weekend — lead them in faith.
Not perfectly. But with your whole heart.
