Beginnings and Ends
I have another prompt for you today. Let me know how you get on with this one. Write about a beginning that felt like an ending, or an ending that felt like a beginning. Ambiguity is the subject here. Let the poem resist resolution. Share your discoveries or a bit of your work on this in the comments box.

Writing Circle - August
Well, if you missed our first writing circle, I've recorded it and you can take a look here. As it was the first, I've shared a little on why I've set both this community and the idea of a writing circle up. Please take a look and share what you'd like to get out of it. There are a few questions, ideas and offers that you might wish to take up. Please note: Please fast forward to 20 seconds in when the video starts. I forgot to turn on my microphone. I did try to edit it, but for some reason it didn't work. I think whatever system Skool uses to record doesn't work with my edit programme.

Write Me A River
Write me a river of words flowing out from your heart 💓 That share with me the emotional pledges you gave me at our start. Days when truth sounded eternal to me and you. The moments in time we promised love so true. Sing me a river of songs: words, falling through, The melody that captures the mind and fools the heart, the way lovers do. Of moments and passions so bewildering that none could ever redirect what was felt, what only I knew. Cry me a river reflecting on lives past: old and new, Glimpses fluttering by the way butterfly wings do. And in the end, when the river of this lifetime passes by The eternal flow of love will begin again and enlighten the next two, in love and light anew. - ©️Sandra Pollock 2026
