Start in the middle
Time for our next prompt.
Write a poem or prose that begins mid-sentence, as if the reader is arriving late to a conversation, event or activity that begun before their arrival.
It's all about experimenting with dropping the reader straight into the action. What does starting in the middle change?
Have a go. Maybe recall a situation where you found yourself in a similar situation. Write from there.
