Jacob Ruisdale Color Study
Jacob Ruisdale ‘Haarlem Fields’ color study, 11x14, acryllic, on old mdf board with uneven gesso. 2nd image is reference. Overall I feel good about it, although clouds are the bane of my existence. P.S. This was only 5 colors: Ultramarine blue, yellow ochre, burnt siena, yellow cadmium, titanium white. 3rd photo is my tonal study which was completed prior to the color study (extremely difficult, but glad I did it!)
