Here are the first three charts in which colours are blended ( if you are not sure what I mean, see my previous post ). These charts include cad yellow light/cad yellow medium, cad red light/cad red medium and yellow ochre/cad orange.
Note that the oil paints I used are Gamblin 1980; if you try this exercise with another brand of paint , your results may not match mine. Also I tried to follow the description given by Michael Lynn Adams to "avoid mixing equal amounts of each colour, but enough colour of the first signature colour to predominate while allowing the other colour's character to be recognized." If you try this exercise the number of charts you will require depends on how many colours are in your palette. The way I have set up my charts leaves me 4 more charts to complete.
