Question about templates

Jason does mention that they are fill in the blank and easy to edit but I have the 100 templates but as im looking through them I am not really sure how I can edit them so they are good for me. Most are pre made videos so how am I supposed to do that and also with the Creatives too. Please help me out. Thank you.
