Nowhere does it mention about cleaning the rod after use and with what? Also how many times can one use the olive oil before having to change it unless it is not necessary? Thanks for your help!

After trying to solely use ozone drops and olive oil for a long time to try to heal a hardened mass (chalazion) in my eyelid and then an infection alongside and related to that - the drops/oil may've been helping, but I can't say for sure, and at the very least they weren't going fast enough to prevent pain/pressure on the eye causing blurry vision - I'm finally biting the bullet and getting surgery instead to have the mass removed. And antibiotics to deal with the infection. Any recommendations on how to use ozone olive oil and drops to help remediate for any stress or lacerations or the antibiotic load the surgery my involve?
