Lesson 1 of Phoenix Rising begins with a simple practice: notice the room you are in. Who is on the walls. Who the signs are written for. Who sits where. This month, look again at one wall at work: a notice board, a corridor, a poster, a staff room. Share a photo if you can, and write two short sentences: I notice... I wonder... For example, from Ava in Lesson 1: "I notice the notice board has the manager's name in big letters and the cleaners' names nowhere. I wonder who decided what goes on that board." Please keep photos free of patients, faces and anything that names a person, and check your workplace's photo policy first. No photo? The two sentences are enough. Your own words are enough.
