Never know who’s watching 🇺🇸 🇩🇪

On my trip with family in NYC. Walking downtown I got a random WhatsApp message.

From a friend who’s also an agent. She reached out and said that an MLS II team was looking for a goalie and they were holding closed tryouts for players they considered signing.

Somehow my name got in the mix and they had my CV, Highlight Video, and Documents in front of them. Within in minutes they had it, because I make sure I stay ready at a moments notice for a coach or team.

Regardless within 20 minutes the process was over. I went through 6 pairs of hands and coaches for approval.

At the end of the 20 minutes I didn’t get selected due to the sole reason I lack international experience. Which is unfortunate considering the only countries I can gain that experience from is playing for USA or Germany.

Regardless this shows that you never know who is watching you, who knows who, and why it’s important to always stay ready.
