Chakras, Personal Growth, and Human Development Everything in the universe is constantly growing, changing, and evolving. Galaxies, stars, planets, and all living things are continuously undergoing transformation. Human beings are no different. We are constantly changing and growing physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We are not the same person we were a year ago, a month ago, or even a moment ago. Human growth, development, and transformation are deeply connected, from a spiritual perspective, with the chakras. This way of looking at our development can help us become more attuned to the rhythm of nature, allowing us to better understand and meet our needs at each stage of life. The human life cycle can be viewed as a series of seven-year stages, with the first major cycle spanning approximately 49 years. Within this perspective, three important cycles of human growth and development can be identified: - The first 7-month cycle: Beginning with the development of the fetus in the mother’s womb. - The 7 × 7-month cycle: Covering the early childhood period and continuing until approximately the age of seven. - The larger 7 × 7-year life cycle: Extending to approximately 49 years and encompassing a significant portion of a person’s life and development. These cycles offer a symbolic way of understanding the different stages of human growth and the changes we experience throughout life.
