Quick tip on how to appear in AI Search Engines 💡
Currently, the most effective way we’ve been doing this is by reverse-engineering the sources AI engines cite, then working to get our clients featured in those places so their brand appears more prominently.
Here’s the process we’re using today:
✅ Identify relevant prompts manually or with tools
✅ Research which sources AI engines already cite (and which we need to break into)
✅ Reverse-engineer ways to get clients mentioned in those sources (Reddit threads, Wikipedia, news sites, etc.)
✅ Create and distribute content designed to get cited
For measurement, we track visibility through LLM ranking tools (which are helpful but not perfect), but more importantly, through GA4, where we can actually see traffic and revenue being attributed back to LLMs.
It’s still early days (and a bit scrappy), but the biggest benefits we’re seeing for clients are:
👉 We can map out a clear strategy for appearing in LLMs
👉 We can test, track, and prove results
That’s the most crucial part for us right now, turning AI search visibility into measurable impact.
