Have you ever woken up from a sleep and wondered "why did I dream that?" Of course you have. Well, probably. My husband said he never dreamed because he never remembered dreaming. Some days I wish that was me for I can wake up more tired than when I went to bed. But why do we dream at all, and what do our dreams mean? Sorry, I don't have a complete answer for that question. Some sleep specialists will say its a way for us to deal with what is happening in our lives, some folk say its how we resolve/solve problems, and others will say we are living another life while we are asleep. All of these COULD be true, all of them. I only know that I dream every time I go to sleep, and likely you do to I have looked through many books about interpreting dreams and the always left me feeling like I was the "odd man out". None of the interpretations seemed to resonate with me. Am I weird? Not normal? Well, maybe :) but I am ok with that. Dreams that you forget seconds after awakening may indeed be your mind just sorting out event in your life. But dreams that you remember ... those are visitations When your conscious mind is at rest your subconscious is alive and we are able to connect with "the other side", with spirit, with loved ones who have passed on. Our conscious mind needs to "interpret", connect with realities we know, "make sense" of things, but the unconscious mind is far more accepting of other realities So what do your dreams mean? What was the visitation about? You might want to write them down, even just pieces of them if that is all you can remember. Sooner or later you may start to notice a pattern, and a meaning. I guarantee your life will be fuller for it
