Injury Prevention Week 1 (Knee focused)
The #1 injury I see in soccer is due to weak knees.
Cutting, sprinting or landing puts a lot of impact on your knees. So keeping them strong will prevent a lot of other injuries.
This week we will start with a balance assessment test. If you canโ€™t balance on one leg for 30 seconds without wobblingโ€ฆ
Your knees are doing too much work.
Try this assessment on each leg and rate yourself 1-10 or post the video below! (I posted a video of an example)
