The One Souvenir You Actually Still Use
Everybody's got a drawer of trip souvenirs that never got touched again. But somewhere in there is one thing you actually still use, wear, or reach for. Mine is a Cozumel T-shirt(I'll have to add the pic of it in the comments later). Drop yours below. One souvenir per comment, and tell us where it's from.
BEEN THERE? DROP IT BELOW (1 place per comment)
🌍 I want to try something simple but powerful. 👇 Where have you actually been (traveled, lived, or explored)? BUT one rule: ➡️ Post ONE destination per comment (no lists, no stacking cities) Examples: “Rome, Italy” “Tulum, Mexico” “Sedona, Arizona” Why we’re doing this: I want to start building a trusted travel network inside this group — real places, real people, real experiences. This helps: People planning trips know who to talk to Me connect you with the right people Surface real recommendations (not Google noise) Optional (if you want to add more): Reply to your own comment with: What you loved What surprised you What you’d skip Let’s see how deep this group really goes 👇
Quick thought as this group keeps growing…
Most people don’t actually need more travel ideas They need clarity, confidence, and someone to help them finally move. That’s what we’re building here. So I’m curious .. Do you know 1 person in your life who: • Talks about traveling but never books • Feels unsure about going alone • Overthinks every trip If someone came to mind, invite them in. We’re getting close to 150 members, and I want the right people here!! ... not just more people.

🌍 Travel Guessing Game
Let’s do something fun. Post one photo from a trip you’ve taken — anywhere in the world. But don’t say where it is yet. Everyone else can try to guess the destination in the replies. After a few guesses, you can reveal where it actually was. A few notes:• Wrong guesses are completely welcome• If you want, you can drop a small hint• Even local trips count — sometimes those are the hardest to guess Travel memories are some of the best stories we have, so let’s see where everyone has been. Who wants to post the first mystery photo? 📸
🐘💦 The Day an Elephant Taught Me the True Meaning of “Self‑Care”
Hey everyone — Gareth here. Thought I’d share a quick wildlife travel moment that still makes me laugh. A while back in South Africa, we came across a young elephant who had clearly decided it was Spa Day. No booking. No robe. No shame. He walked straight into a mud wallow, scooped up a trunkful of sludge, and launched it over himself like he was auditioning for a L’Oréal commercial called “Because I’m Worth It… and Also It’s 42°C.” At one point he looked at us — absolutely plastered in mud — with the same expression you give someone who catches you eating peanut butter straight from the jar.A sort of: “Yes, I’m doing this. No, I will not be taking questions.” 🧭 Beginner wildlife travel tip of the day: If you ever feel awkward on a trip, just remember: Somewhere out there, an elephant is confidently wearing a full-body mud mask in public. You’ll be fine. If you want more funny stories, beginner tips, or ideas for wildlife‑friendly destinations, I’m happy to share them. Nature has a great sense of humour if you give it a moment. What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen while travelling?
