Why "Refundable" Doesn't Always Mean What You Think It Means
Some refundable bookings mean your money back. Others mean credit toward a future trip, no cash returned. The difference matters more than the price difference usually does. Always read which kind before you assume. Poll: Have you ever been surprised by what "refundable" actually meant? - Yes, learned the hard way - No, always check first - Never thought about it - What's the difference

@Michael Johnson would also depend on the time frame of the cancellation. I always encourage my clients to use the word “reschedule” and usually that preserves their “investment”. Helps to reframe any lost cost.
Be honest, which fall trip is tugging at you?
Be honest, which fall trip is tugging at you? 🎷 New Orleans (Nov) — music, food, French Quarter 🌵 Santa Fe — wellness + good food 🙌 Both, don't make me choose 💭 Just here dreaming for now, and that's okay

@Michael Johnson actually, just the ease of getting to a cruise port because I live in Pennsylvania. I like to understand easy access travel for my local audience. Baltimore, New Jersey, New York, and now Philadelphia are all great departure ports in our area that don’t require a flight.

@M T @Michael Johnson news to me too!
Cruise Question
Quick cruise question because I see this mistake over and over. What’s one cruise decision you made that looked smart on paper but didn’t feel great once you were onboard? Mine: interior cabin on a sea-day-heavy itinerary. I told myself I’d “barely be in the room.” Turns out I like daylight and sanity more than I thought. Curious what others learned the hard way.

@Michael Johnson yes absolutely. And one thing I didn’t realize before becoming a TA is that it’s not always a 4 person cabin next to a 4 person cabin. Often it’s a 2 next to a 4. Makes placement even more exciting, right?
