Does anyone dig into their guitars and add copper foil under the electronics to help with interference? Is it worth it? Are there downsides? Seems like a pretty inexpensive modification, but I’ve never done it….yet.

Haha, not sure what to call it, but I'm really happy with how this mod turned out. Push-push coil split on the humbuckers, 5-way Strat-style switch. All 3 pickups are Tonerider upgrades (Birmingham humbuckers and City Limits single coil), and I did a variation on the coil split where instead of sending inner coils straight to ground, you use a partial-split resistor to ground (hat tip to Fralin Pickups blog for the idea!).

Can anybody help me out? Does anyone have a simple diagram for wiring a Duncan bridge hunbucker to a 500k push pull pot with a 3 way switch for regular volume control? i know how to solder and I was an apprentice electrician for a while so I'm not a beginner. Just don't know this config. Stuff online can be confusing.

bought this guitar cleaning kit..i absolutley love it..especially the lemon oil..brings the fretboard to new life..never tried strung cleaner so i dont know how to use it..just tried the wax and its awesome

Got this squire when i was like 8 years old. Treated it like trash, then started learning guitar when I was about 16. Since then I’ve gotten a couple different guitars and moved on from it. One day I decided to completely rebuild it and see what I could make of it. All parts are from Temu, just to see what kinda sounds and looks they could deliver.. and honestly? they delivered hard.
