Hey Old Dawgs 👋
I’m Jen Martinez, but most people call me JMar.
I’ve been here a minute and realized I never shared why I’m part of this crew. I was introduced to Lean by , who invited me to last year’s Arlington conference. That’s where I found Old Dawgs and instantly knew I’d found my people. I work alongside builders, superintendents, Lean practitioners, safety, EHS, and emergency response leaders solving a growing problem impacting the majority of our workforce every day: depletion, commonly mislabeled as dehydration.
Most people are programmed to believe that drinking water solves dehydration.
It doesn’t.
Prevention plans built on water, rest, and shade are quietly wrecking people, projects, timelines, and budget lines.
My company focuses on restoration, not hydration. We lead with education and provide real-time support—helping crews regain physical and mental readiness with fuel they can feel working. This reverses symptoms fast, instead of forcing people to push through daily fatigue, brain fog, muscle cramps, headaches, and body aches until they inevitably crash.
If your crews are dealing with:
• Physical or mental health struggles
• Afternoon slowdowns and low motivation
• Monday fatigue carrying into the week 👈🏻(PC way to say hungover 😵)
• Costly cognitive mistakes, rework, injuries, or frequent call-outs
• Pushing through instead of speaking up
That’s the gap I help leaders close.
I’m here as a thought partner and people protector, not a vendor. I’m always open to sharing what’s working in the field and learning from others who truly care about prioritizing people and project productivity.
Grateful to be part of this group and the conversations that actually matter.
We serve a God of overflow, and I’m simply walking out His restoration assignment through divine alignment.
Glad to connect anytime 🤝
(And yes… I do love a good rhyme 🤓)
Have a blessed and productive week, Dawgs.
