WEEKLY LIVE COACHING is happening in 48 hours
Belief is the difference maker... not the situation.
I am usually a highly motivated person who makes the most of situations. I have always viewed that as a superpower of mine. This podcast episode (here is the link to it) has opened my eyes as to why that might be, but it has also highlighted for me some areas of improvement when it comes to how I think about things. Here is what I mean. We have the decision with anything and everything in life to view it one of two ways. 1. This thing happened TO me 2. This thing happened FOR me But only one of those beliefs propels you forward to do something about it and learn from it. This is my spin on what I have heard and what I want to encourage you with. Become the person who can look back on their life and honestly say, "I wouldn't change a thing." Let those things that are in the past be the stepping stone upward instead of the excuse you pull out when things don't go as you planned. Those things happened FOR you. So you can learn from them, encourage others, & rewrite your story. Check out this episode. Would love to hear your thoughts or additions!
Foundational Friday Thoughts
The past year, clarity is something that I’ve been seeking often. I came to the realization that clarity was the missing link when someone explained what “playing to win” actually looks like. Recap: 3 ways to play - play to not lose (bare minimum) - Play to play (in the game, running hard, no scoreboard) - Playing to win (in the game, with a scoreboard, and clear on what it takes to get there) Clarity was the missing link. But it doesn’t stop there. Let this be your motivation today. - Action without clarity, is blind and resultless. - Clarity without action is theoretical and disappointing. Clarity coupled with action is a recipe for impact. Onward!
