My biggest Takeaways
- If you want to make a marvel movie, don’t try to make a marvel movie with a indie budget. Instead, make a good character driven story that will lead to your next film and then next film until you make the marvel movie.
- Show up and commit to a body of work. Be willing to look stupid, Be willing to fail.
- You can’t just make any film
- You can’t go try and be a carbon copy
- Your career path needs to be infused with your own DNA
- Films aren’t limited by gear, they’re limited by creativity.
- Films comprise of Picture, Sound, Story and Performance
My biggest concern/challenge is getting past the hurdle of getting people to work on something without paying them. But I do like the way you worded the way to approach them in a way.
