Welcome to Odd One Out. 🖤 This is for the black sheep, the people rebuilding, those in recovery, those healing from trauma, and anyone who's ever wondered, “Why did nobody teach me this?” Here we'll get into the real-life stuff—self-sabotage, boundaries, coping skills, self-awareness, recovery, relationships, survival mode, patterns, and the everyday skills that somehow didn't come with an instruction manual. But this isn't a classroom where one person has all the answers. Some of the best lessons come from conversations with our peers—their lived experiences, perspectives, mistakes, successes, and ways of seeing something we may have never considered before. Because we don't know what we don't know—and that's okay. This is a space to ask questions, challenge old ways of thinking, learn practical tools, hear different perspectives, and maybe even share something you've learned that helps someone else. We'll approach things through a trauma-informed lens, lived experience, practical knowledge, and an out-of-the-box perspective. You don't need a certain diagnosis, recovery story, background, or label to belong here. Come as the odd one out. Learn what you weren't taught. Share what life taught you. Reclaim your life. And become who you were meant to be. 🖤 Your first Odd One Out assignment: 🖤 Skip the name, job title and traditional introduction. Tell us one thing you had to learn the hard way, something you're still figuring out, or something you wish someone would've taught you sooner. Not ready to share all that? That's okay too. Tell us what brought you to the Odd Side. 🐑
