This is how I made my first €2K in UGC deals with only 300 followers.
I followed this one simple rule:
50% content for brands, 50% content for UGC/content creators/people in your niche.
🔥The first 50% → content for BRANDS
This is how you show your value to brands.
Not by telling them to hire you, but by showing that you know what you’re doing.
Post things like:
- Portfolio examples & UGC-style videos
- Videos where you talk about:
- Reviews of results or experiences with clients
Brands see this as social proof. And trust me they care way more about this than your follower count.
🔥The other 50% content for UGC/content creators/people in your niche
This is where most beginners get stuck.
A lot of people think they need to educate others to connect.
But if you’re still figuring things out yourself, don’t turn yourself into an educational UGC page yet.
You can connect by simply sharing your journey.
- Day-in-the-life content
- Wins, losses, doubts, struggles
- Honest realizations you’ve had
- Things you like / don’t like about UGC
- Behind-the-scenes shots
- Bloopers
- The gear you use
You can:
- Share your goals at the start of the month
- Post a monthly recap at the end
- Talk about what went well (and what didn’t)
And once you’re further along, you can slowly start sharing what worked for you in landing your first UGC deals not as “this is what you should do,” but as your experience.
AND...
If this content is high quality, it attracts brands too!!!
