Group Sharing Chickpea Moments is happening in 7 days
2026 is shaping up to be a little different ... and it's all good.
Before I go into details about the changes ahead, I want to share with you the why. If you have worked with me over the last 18 months, you will likely know about a few changes. After 12 years living on the Sunshine Coast, I sold my little home and bought 9 acres in the country to live my best life full of horses, nature and less commuting. My little block has no structures, electricity or water, so I rented in town with plans to build in 2025. These went astray (twice) and along the way I bought a cottage ‘in-town’ over a cup of coffee with a friend because I love the security of owning. As I busy myself in my new home, painting and adding splashes of my own personal style along the way, I am in discussions with the third and fourth builder about design features on my giant sheds and color schemes and tile patterns for the house (two separate projects and builders). At the end of this month, I step back into studying my Masters Social Work part-time with the goal to be ‘done and dusted’ by the end of 2027. Why am I studying a Masters with all the other qualifications I have already completed? I hear you ask … the answer is for the community. You see, the people who most need support in the mental health space can not always afford to access user pay services and rely on Medicare, NDIS and DVA financial support to help them attend what they need to. As a Masters qualified Therapist, I will be able to align my work with these funding bodies and by 2029 hold a Medicare number. Talk about long term planning!! Now if you read this far, I’m sure you are ready to read about what is changing? - I have closed the face to face clinic - Inviting more whimsical and joy for joy sack into life and work - Pausing all new 1:1 and couples sessions - I’m stepping away from Meta owned space and have created a free online community - I will be offering a bi-monthly email (join my mailing list) - Only a limited number of key events will be happening this year - the first is May 2026 - Deepening relationships with nature, the elements and ancient wisdoms - More showing up purposefully and with intention

Year of the fire horse
Welcome my beauties, What a journey to arrive here and welcome to the first day of the new year. I have loved reading everyone’s input about horses with the Chinese astrology - year of the horse as we have approach this day. I have never felt strongly aligned with Chinese astrology, but as an open free thinker I welcome the opportunities for new ways of doing and being. In 2017 (the beginning of the last cycle) it was a turning point in life for me certainly. I was offered two jobs - one a project management role in the creative industries working for a local council. The other working in community service sector where I have spent the last decade. What would life look like had I pursued the fun creative space??? - Would I have bought a house? - Would I have bought land? - Would I have moved to the country? - Would I have reconnected with horse energy? Maybe. Maybe not. I do dearly love creative projects and event management and am lucky enough to be delivering a weekly creative workshop for 10-17year olds next term as a part of my ‘job’ as well as being a part of a BIG suicide prevention awareness event for my rural community in the second half of 2026. But it feels like there are more creative projects ready to land in the year of the horse from a private space and I would love your support in dreaming these in. - Tell me what workshops you would love to attend this year Love Abundance Parenting Mindfulness Nature Connection Something different??? - Is there interest in a weekend away to nourish and nurture your soul while connecting to the land, ourselves and each other with creativity and some woo woo weaved in? Welcome to the new year, and from my herd to yours, we wish you a year full of greatness.

Welcome
As a Counsellor and Holistic Therapist, the biggest contributor I see to people’s wellness is their ability to take care of themselves and choose to prioritise them. For so many people I work with, they have prioritised the needs of others over their own for a long time: - Parents - Main income earners in the home - Carers for sick or elderly family - The 'organiser' in a group of friends As a collective of big hearted people, too often our personal needs are placed on the back burner. I know - I did this for a long time and this is how the Nourish & Nurture Collective was born and is here to support YOU. This community is currently available for free and is a place everyone is welcome and a place to have some me time and learn together. Each month, we will explore a collective theme from the field (a term from the world of constellations) and a variety of offerings available for you to access from mediations, journaling, ancestral wisdom, nature connections, EFT, plants, equine assisted learning, reiki, somatic and embodied movement, ceremony and ritual and so much more. As a qualified Counsellor and Holistic Therapist, I guide this community in a trauma informed manner sharing over two decades of wisdom and knowledge along the way. Now you are here, it would be great to introduce yourself by telling us: - Your name - What are you hoping to find here at Nourish & Nurture Collective - Where in the world you are from BONUS if you share a picture (of you or something that makes you smile) I look forward to journeying with you all and sharing the wisdom and gifts I have gather over the years, as well as learning from the collective..
