How to find products in my price range?

I told myself that I would crawl before I walked and walked before I ran. I’m realizing that even with base components you need a lot of capital. A bolt with a quantity of 462 and UI of 100 means you need 46,000 bolts at a dollar or so apiece you need quite a bit of cash. How do I find items of lesser total cost so that I can prove concept?
