A great Mix starts with great recordings and a great arrangement. Mixing is not fixing!!

Not everything needs to be heard clearly. Some elements are felt more than heard.

Mixing ≠ Mastering Keep them separate. Focus on balance, space, and dynamics in the mix. Don’t rely on a limiter on your master bus.

Develop a thorough organizational system for your projects. There are usually so many reference files and it can become a disorganized mess very quickly. Also, it will make moving your projects more successful when you need to send the project or move it to an external drive.
