Recipe - Homemade Low Fat Ice Cream
Nutritional information:
Per 80g Total Calories: 195 cals Protein: 4.8g Carbohydrates: 22g Fats: 9.3g
Ingredients:
  • 600g Low fat thickened cream
  • 410g Skim sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla bean extract
Method:
In a large mixing bowl beat cream on a low speed until the cream just begins to thicken.
Do not over beat as low fat cream will not whip.
Gently fold in condensed milk and vanilla bean extract. Do not over stir.
Place cling wrap on top of mixture with no air pockets to reduce ice crystals.
Place in freezer and stir after 1 hour. Place cling wrap back over ice cream and repeat this step 3 times.
After ice cream has been in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours it is ready to enjoy!
