Not even done and I am ready to wear it...
Already love wearing it and I still have 37 rows to go. It's so rare that I make something for myself. I am thrilled to have it almost ready. #crochet #knit #tunisiancrochet

One stitch at a time... writing patterns
I have sketches, a gauge swatch in tunisian crochet, crochet, and knit. Using one TC Hook, one hook, and a pair of cabled needles. Lots of stitch markers. My process for developing a pattern looks a little like a mad scientist's lab notebook. Here's my Book Scarf WIP

Tunisian Crochet to Knitting
Just made the transition from tunisian crochet to knitting on my book scarf. Why? You might ask... because Tunisian crochet simple stitch is thick and flat, it doesn't *scrunch* well to confirm around my neck. I have bout one arm's length in afghan crochet (another name for tunisian crochet) And will make the around the neck portion in much more flexible and scrunchable knit stockinette. Just know if that if you afghan crochet wearables you can toggle between tunisian crochet, crochet, and knotting with ease to shape and adjust the flexibility and stretch of your garment.

My crojo is shaky after frogging 6,300 sts...
I am so over that project. BUT I really really want to use the yarn for me. I bought it on my birthday. It's wool alpaca blend and super soft. I am just thinking about the best way to make that happen. I set that aside and picked up L&T Facets in Dark Ocean (acrylic). Last night I started on a Tunisian Crochet pocket scarf. If I have enough yarn I will make a hood. I looked up a few patterns and decided to wing it with the Tunisian simple stitch. Here's the first few rows. CH41, 40 TSS. Picked up from Michael's. I have 3 Skeins. Fairly sure that's enough for the scarf and hood. I have a second color for trim in grey (2 skeins). I plan to edge it in grey, maybe make pockets in the grey. This should conserve enough of the Dark Ocean colorway for the hood.
