Yarn Deals?
Did y'all find any yarn deals this past week or weekend? My LYS had all kinds of rewards, discounts, and a free bag. Just cute stuff. My LYS Proprietor has started dying her own line of yarn. Her sense of color is fantastic. This is the site for that and related merch. https://www.morpholana.com/collections/merchandise

@Karrine Nickels I'm busily cataloging my stash and planning the projects for each so I know precisely what I want to make and what I might need to do that. I'm updating it all on ravelry or loopsy.
WIP Update
What are you working on? First fair isle colorwork is coming along nicely. All colorwork rows are done. On to adjusting for length and then ribbing the edge.

All the floats on the inside of the hat. Not bad.

@Karrine Nickels love the colors you chose! It's such a great selection for a scarf.
Checking in on my FIRST Fair Isle Crochet colorwork project
I cannot say it's going quickly, however it is looking pretty good. I have a link to the pattern (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fair-isle-colorwork-hat) and the yarn (https://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/malabrigo-yarn-rios) just so you can find the same items I am using. I am quite happy with my first go of Fair Isle crochet.

What do you do? Or want to do?
Here's the approximate order of skill acquisition I went through, from age 8 to 52: Crochet, friendship bracelets, hair braiding and braiding anything else, hand-sewing, macrame, embroidery, cross stitch, Knitting, paracord, Sewing (machine), and tunisian crochet. What about you? I want to add: weaving spinning Dying Beading

@Roslyn Hill I do. In person at Craftique Studio here in Cypress, Texas, and online on my YouTube Channel and here in Skool. As a long time fiber artist I find it fun to learn new things and share what I learn along the way.
I did a thing that I hate.... and I am kind of excited about it.
I really strongly dislike Make-a-longs. Hear me out. I don't want to commit to long protracted process where I have to wait for content to come to me. It's a weird hurry up and wait thing that frustrates me. I get ahead and impatient, then behind and rushing. I'm not so good at that. Enter the Craftique Colorwork MAL for January. Attached is the graphic. There are THREE project choices (two knit and one crochet). I am MUCH too warm blooded these days for a sweater (menopause), and I am a little more boho tree-hugger than the geometric. So I chose the tree hat. I signed up for a Make-a-Long (MAL). Craftique has studio perks for those that shop there including a Tip Sheet. Here's the links. Sweater - https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/echeveria-sweater Geometric hat and cowl - https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/llariega **Tree hat - https://brianakdesigns.com/fair-isle-crochet-hat-free-pattern/ While I do teach classes at this studio, I don't get any commission on the products sold there. This is simply a courtesy to share it. https://craftiquestudio.shop/ I have used the in-house yarn from Craftique, that's Morpholana. It's not only beautiful, the quality is high. Grace (the dyer and shop owner) has a great eye for color. https://www.morpholana.com/collections/all My yarn is some malabrigo rio (my skin is VERY sensitive to wools, so I have to be selective) and coordinates with yarn I own for another project. My tree hat will be the dark color at the top, the pale in the mid color, and the cranberry on the ribbing. The trees will probably end up being the cranberry also.
