EPKs! What, Why, and How...
What is an EPK? And do you need one?
It’s an Electronic Press Kit. It’s the new DIGITAL version of the classic PHYSICAL Press Kit that artists would send to promoters, venues, labels, and just about anyone else they wanted to work with.
But now, we don’t have to spend a bunch of $$$ shipping big packages, CDs, and posters all over the country. We can package and send them electronically. Via email or text. And if you are REALLY determined to stand out… you can send a Video EPK.
Today’s Video EPK is a 1-3 minute promotional video that needs to look pro or it won’t be taken seriously. It features snippets of the artist performing their best songs, and even spoken segments where the artist can explain the heart of their ministry and connect with the viewer on a more personal level. In short, the Video EPK is the Booking and Promotional SUPERTOOL you need.
One artist friend of mine booked 17 dates of a 22 date Southwest tour with his new Video EPK. And the majority of those reach outs were COLD emails! But the EPK was great. It looked and sounded pro. It opened doors across the country.
How important is it to have one? Well, I’m shooting one for MY music ministry on Feb 20th in Nashville, TN. And I don’t even do that many concert dates! But I want to have the best key I can possibly have to open music and ministry doors. So, I need a great looking Video EPK.

This year we are taking the Singing News film crew to the beautiful Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon TN for a full day of shooting. It’s a 4 camera shoot, professionally lit, and recorded into Pro-Tools so it all sounds great. You've seen this venue on numerous Singing news TV specials. All video assets are yours to own and EVERY Video service we provide will be 1/2 price that day. For Instance:

Video EPK with Spoken Segments - Not 2000, but only 950
