When you start any new endeavour and get a little bit invested in it.
Be it time or money.
You tend to think yourself to be at the peak of what you can learn.
This feeling leaves you complacent.
Leaves you behind others.
You could be performing at your best but the moment you feel you are comfortable and safe, you have completely lost.
Others start to overtake you.
You need to keep on refining and getting better every single day.
Perfect your craft.
Aim high and want to be the absolute best in your field whatever it may be.
Common sense I don't think anyone can argue with.
But we as humans are complacent creatures.
Even though we acknowledge our need for learning you will still find us at the same place.
Lonely, unmotivated and feeling like you know everything.
This is the state of most men if you look around.
Instead of people looking for others that are successful.
They look to the people they grew up with even if they have outgrown them.
All of this kinda sounds cliche but if you think about it, it's true.
Sometimes things that are cliche can be that way because they are true.
You get a feeling it's true but it's society's way to keep you comfortable with what everyone else is doing.
So you're conditioned to be uncomfortable with these truths.
That is how this world works.
