Started grinding at the age of 10, reverted at 13, getting married at 16? + Hijrah?
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, I just wanted to share a bit about my journey and what I’m working on. My name’s Diederick (Umar), and I’ve been into video editing since I was like 10 years old. I started with basic stuff on Movavi Video Editor nothing fancy, just learning the ropes. SubhanAllah, it’s crazy how far I’ve come since then. When I was around 13, I was going through some tough stuff dealing with school problems, getting bullied, and just feeling lost. Alhamdulillah, that’s when Allah subḥānahu wa ta'alā guided me to Islam, and honestly, it was the best decision of my life. For the past year and a half, I kind of lost track just wasting time and chasing dopamine, to be honest. But recently, I decided to get serious about video editing again. I’ve been putting in hours and hours at my PC, learning and improving my skills. The most important part for me is making sure it’s all done in a HALAL way so I can get the barakah from Allah (swt). Right now, I’m 15, and Alhamdulillah, I’ve had the chance to work with some big names and companies. I’m also working towards making Hijrah, hopefully in about 10 months, depending on when I can do my school exams bi’ithnillah. One thing that really bothers me, though, is seeing so many people making amazing edits but using haram stuff like music, musical sound effects, or showing faces (eyes). I want to make a change, insha’Allah, and teach other Muslims how to edit videos in a way that’s pleasing to Allah subḥānahu wa ta'alā. I’m planning to build a community where I can teach how to make a stable 4- to 5-figure income through halal video editing, bi’ithnillah. I want to help more Muslims create content that earns the pleasure of Allah while also being successful in this dunya. Jazakumullahu Khairan for the support and encouragement. Please keep me in your duas, and I hope to benefit the Ummah with this!

❓QUESTION: What Inspired You to Get Into Video Editing?
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, I’m curious to know: what got you started with video editing? Was it a passion for storytelling, wanting to share your message with the world, or maybe just experimenting with cool effects? Share your story in the comments!
Your Soul 🚨🚨
Ibn Qayyim رحمه الله said: "Your soul is just like your enemy, once it finds you serious, it obeys you. If it finds weakness from you, it will take you as a prisoner." ‎● {بدائع الفوائد ٣/١٢٠٢} This shows the importance of discipline and staying away from everything and anything that harms us whether in worldly or religious matters

The Day i Did the Impossible.
I will always remember this day: The Day I Did the Impossible. As some of you know, I'm an athlete, and every year I have to attend a physical exam. My exam consists of riding a stationary bike and maintaining a certain speed for about 5–10 minutes, but the resistance increases every second. Kinda tough. One day I had to attend this exam. I still remember pushing so hard that, at the end of the session, my feet were trembling. I didn’t know what I had accomplished → At the end of the session, the doctor looked at me and said: - "How did you do it?" I was confused. I asked what he meant by that, and his answer changed my view of the world: He looked at the results of the exam and said: - "Because of your genetics, you shouldn’t be able to pass this exam." I did something almost impossible → I unlocked a new level. When I got back home, I kept thinking about this all day: - "If I passed an exam that was supposed to be impossible for me, then what am I truly capable of?" If I did something like this… then what are YOU capable of? Get After It. Zazzakhallahu Khairan All praise to Allah, the only one who gave me the strength and the opportunity.
