Sometimes the biggest business decision you make isn't your next strategy.
It's the room you choose to be in.
I've been thinking about that a lot this week.
When I joined communities where people were building bigger businesses than mine, I wasn't trying to copy them. I was trying to expand what I believed was possible.
You start seeing different questions.
Different standards.
Different levels of execution.
Different ways of thinking.
It quietly changes you.
I've learned that proximity matters. Investing in personal growth and putting yourself in rooms where people challenge you has been one of the highest return investments I've ever made.
Every season, I intentionally put myself in a room where I can learn from people a few steps ahead of me. Then I bring those lessons back to Income Without Burnout so we can all grow together.
Who is stretching your thinking right now?
π I'd love to hear whose work has influenced your business journey.
P.S. One example is Katya's Oracle Connections community. She's currently aiming for a Top 5 finish in the Skool Games that end tomorrow morning. Watching the community rally around her has been a masterclass in community building. No matter where she finishes, I've already learned a ton just by being in the room. Join us!
