Feeling Behind Isn't the Same as Being Behind
I feel behind.
You know that feeling when there are still emails to send, posts to write, images to create, dinner to make, and somehow the clock seems to be moving faster than normal?
That was me today.
We have friends coming over for dinner, they're running late, and suddenly I found myself with this unexpected pocket of time.
Instead of stressing, I kicked into what I call productive adrenaline mode.
I scheduled the Q&A call for Claude Coworker Lab.
Created the image.
Wrote an invitational post.
Finished a few Focused 12 tasks.
Checked things off that had been sitting on my list.
It reminded me of something:
Sometimes feeling behind and actually being behind are two different things.
The feeling is emotional.
The facts are measurable.
When I looked at what I had actually accomplished today, I realized I wasn't behind at all.
I was moving a lot of important things forward.
Maybe that's your reminder today, too.
Before you tell yourself you're behind, look at what you've actually done.
You might be giving yourself less credit than you deserve.
Anyone else having one of those "I feel behind, but somehow I'm getting a ridiculous amount done" days?
Happy Friyay!!
