When you’re stressed, do you immediately try to solve the problem?
This morning my nervous system was completely off.
- Am I safe?
- Do I feel safe?
- Use a relaxation technique (I used the physiological sigh).
It took just a few minutes and I could feel my body settle.
Sometimes the next step isn’t more productivity.
Sometimes it’s helping your nervous system remember that you’re safe.
