📌 Day 9 – Numbers 1 to 10
Today we learned Chinese numbers 1–10 (一到十), their meanings, and even hand gestures used in daily life! 🎉 ✨ Fun Fact: 💰 8 (bā) sounds like fā (发) = wealth, so it’s very lucky! ☠️ 4 (sì) sounds like sǐ (死) = death, so it’s unlucky. 📝 Your tasks: 1️⃣ Practice writing numbers 一 to 十. ✍️ 2️⃣ Take a photo of your notes, show your hand gestures 🤲 or record yourself using Vocaroo counting them out loud in Mandarin. 3️⃣ Post it with the hashtag #MandarinHero30 🔥 Let’s see who can count the fastest and the clearest in Mandarin!
📌 Day 8 – Where are you from?
Today we learned: ✅ 你是哪国人?(nǐ shì nǎ guó rén?) — Where are you from? ✅ 我是…人 (wǒ shì … rén) — I’m from … ✨ Your tasks: 1️⃣ Write today’s characters (是、哪、国、人) three times. 2️⃣ Write and say this dialogue. 3️⃣ Post a photo of your writing AND (if possible) record your answer using Vocaroo and share the link. 4️⃣ Post it with the hashtag #MandarinHero30 💡 Pro Tip: Try saying the names of at least 3 different nationalities to get comfortable. 📣 Don’t forget: Reply to a classmate’s post and ask them 你是哪国人? to practice together!

Tell us your profession in Mandarin! Use the sentence pattern:👉 我是 + profession Examples: ✨ 我是老师。 ✨ 我是医生。 ✨ 我是内容创作者。 Now it’s your turn! Write in the comments: 你是做什么的?(nǐ shì zuò shén me de?) = What do you do?

Today, you've learned how to say family members in Mandarin. So let's introduce one of them in this post! 📝Your task today: Introduce your family in Chinese! ✅ You can write, share a photo, or even draw them. ✅ Use 这是 (zhè shì) + family member + 他/她叫… 👉 Example:这是我的哥哥。他叫汤姆 (Tom)。他十二岁。
📌 Day 5 – Thank You & You’re Welcome
