📌 Day 7 – Introduce Yourself in Mandarin
Today we learned how to ask and answer names: ✅ 你叫什么名字?(nǐ jiào shénme míngzi?) — What’s your name? ✅ 我叫… (wǒ jiào …) — My name is … 📝 Your tasks: 1️⃣ Write today’s focus characters. 2️⃣ Write and say the dialogue: 你叫什么名字? 我叫…(your name) 3️⃣ Post a photo of your handwriting. If you can, add an audio or video introducing yourself with 我叫… ⏺️ Use https://vocaroo.com/ to record your voice, then share the link in the comment box. 💡 Pro Tip: Add 你呢?(nǐ ne?) after your answer to keep the conversation going. 📣 One last thing: Reply to someone’s post by introducing yourself. E.g. 你好,我叫Celine🤗
📌 Day 4 – How are you?
Today we learned how to ask 你好吗? (How are you?) and answer 我很好。 (I’m very good.) — now you can greet and respond like a native! 📝 Your mission today: 1️⃣ Print the practice sheet I attached (or just use a piece of paper). 2️⃣ Follow the stroke order to write 你好吗?我很好。 at least 3 times. 3️⃣ Take a photo of your handwriting. 4️⃣ Post it in the comments🎉 💡 Pro Tip: Say the sentences out loud as you write — your brain will remember them faster. 📣 One last thing: Reply to another learner’s post by saying "Congratulations, you’re speaking Mandarin now!"
📌 Day 1 – Pinyin Fun Challenge
Let’s warm up with an easy and fun task: Write your own name in Pinyin-style letters. Here’s what to do: 1️⃣ Write your name in Pinyin letters (just how you think it would sound) 2️⃣ If you want, try adding tone marks (guessing is totally fine!) 3️⃣ Post it in the comments Example: My name Celine → sé lín (both second tone) Have fun and be creative — this is not a test! 😄

Today we learned how to ask and answer someone’s age in Mandarin: ✅ 你几岁?(nǐ jǐ suì?) — How old are you? (for children) ✅ 你多大?(nǐ duō dà?) — How old are you? (for teens/adults) ✅ 我…岁。 (wǒ … suì) — I am … years old. ✨ Your tasks: 1️⃣ Write today’s focus characters (几、岁、多、大). 2️⃣ Post a photo of your handwriting. If you can, add an audio or video introducing your age with 我…岁. 💡 Pro Tip: Add 你呢?(nǐ ne?) after your answer to keep the conversation flowing naturally. 📣 Don’t forget to cheer on your classmates — reply to someone’s post and practice together. Learning is more fun in a community!
📌 Day 3 - Write “再见” & Say Goodbye Like a Native!
Today we learned 再见 (zài jiàn) — goodbye — and discovered how it literally means 'see you again'. 📝 Your mission today: 1️⃣ Print the practice sheet I attached (or just use a piece of paper). 2️⃣ Follow the stroke order to write 再见 at least 3 times. 3️⃣ Take a photo of your handwriting. 4️⃣ Post it in the comments so we can cheer you on! 🎉 💡 Pro Tip: Say “再见” out loud while writing — it will help lock in both pronunciation and meaning. One last thing: Reply to another learner’s post and say “再见” — practice both writing and speaking!
