Today we learned how to describe appearance in Mandarin using the structure:
๐ [Person] + ๆ (yวu) + [adjective] + [body part].
โจ Key words from today:
- ๅคดๅ (tรณu fa) = hair
- ็ผ็ (yวn jing) = eyes
- ่ณๆต (ฤr duo) = ears
- ๅดๅทด (zuว ba) = mouth
- ้ผปๅญ (bรญ zi) = nose
- ๅคง (dร ) = big
- ๅฐ (xiวo) = small
- ้ฟ (chรกng) = long
- ็ญ (duวn) = short
Examples:
- ๅฅนๆ้ฟๅคดๅใ (tฤ yวu chรกng tรณu fa.) โ She has long hair.
- ไปๆๅคง็ผ็ใ (tฤ yวu dร yวn jing.) โ He has big eyes.
