For many who’ve experienced body boundary violations, binge or emotional eating isn’t a lack of willpower. It’s protection. It’s the body’s way of creating a buffer against feeling unsafe or vulnerable again. You may find that ordinary experiences, like someone asking for your number, a partner initiating intimacy, or simply wearing clothes that draw attention, can feel triggering. These moments can stir up a deep, subconscious fear of being seen, exposed, or violated again. If any of this resonates with you, I want to say this gently and clearly: I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through. You never deserved to be hurt. Your reactions are not flaws, they are signs of your strength and survival. 🛡 The "Safe Weight" Phenomenon In our first session, we explore a powerful concept known as “Safe Weight.” For many, excess weight functions as a subconscious “suit of armour”—creating a sense of protection, making one feel less visible, or guarding against unwanted attention. Time for more movement?
I'm now 15kg lighter than I was at the beginning of this Eazzy Slim journey. I've mostly layed in bed listening to audios... lovely... I'm feeling the pull to move more, walking more, swimming more last night I joined a conscious dance class.... so much fun. I'm just not a gym fan... off swimming tonight but here's my question... how are you moving and are you doing it everyday?
