Salam everyone ๐

Salam (sa-LAAM)๐ Hello / Peace
This is the most natural and universal greeting in Morocco.
You can use it: When entering a shop, when meeting friends, when greeting neighbors, and basically anywhere!
If someone greets you with Salam, you can simply reply: Salam ๐

You might also hear:
Salam 3likom (sa-LAAM สฟLEE-kum) ๐ Peace be upon you.
Reply with:
Wa 3likom salam ๐ Peace be upon you
Donโt worry about the "3" sound yet โ saying Salam is already perfect.
