Hey my sweet Vault dwellers, quick real life update from behind the Overseer console. My son is home and doing better after a really rough two week hospital stay, with one full week in the ICU. We’re still in that “soft landing” phase, lots of rest, lots of breathing room, lots of gratitude. I just want to say thank you for the patience, the quiet support, the good thoughts, and the gentle energy while I was offline and running on survival mode. I felt held, even when I couldn’t respond. My son is in the ICU right now due to severe flu complications that triggered a major asthma flare. He was admitted on Friday, Feb 6 and released Monday, Feb 9 after improving and being fever free, but we were still doing breathing treatments and steroids at home. His fever came back on Wednesday, Feb 11 and his oxygen dropped to 92 percent with labored breathing, so he was admitted again and moved to the ICU for constant monitoring, 100 percent oxygen support, and around the clock breathing treatments. He’s still considered critical, but he finally got some real sleep, and today he’s back to gaming again, which feels like a tiny piece of normal and a little bit of hope. Thank you for keeping him in your prayers and good thoughts.

Quick life update: I ran into a stressful situation that reminded me why I always say “verify first, breathe second.” It was related to a work opportunity and it had me spiraling for a minute because I got hopeful and had my heart broken, then had to switch into protection mode. I’m okay, I’m safe, and I’m handling it with boundaries and support. I’ll be back online soon with my usual cozy chaos. Thank you for holding space. 🌙✨
