First rockhounding of 2026
First time out of the year for myself and my fiancee ! We spent the day prospecting a newly acquired claim. We searched , hiked, explored and ofcourse did some hounding !
Found lots of small, but mighty pink garnets. Almost facet grade im sure of it. Some darker, almost black garnets. Some beautiful samples of mica and a mystery rock.... lol.
All in all it was a beautiful day, and it felt lovely to be out exploring again !!
