Community Post (Weekly Schedule)
Here is the weekly content schedule for our community. This keeps things simple, consistent, and gives everyone something fun to look forward to each day.
Monday – Mineral Monday & Coffee ☕Start the week by sharing cool minerals, crystals, or rock finds.
Tuesday – Rock Tip Tuesday ⛏️Prospecting tips, field advice, tools, and gear talk.
Wednesday – Educational Post 📚🎓Learn something new about geology, minerals, prospecting, or rockhounding.
Thursday – Behind the Scenes 🌲Personal stories, adventures, and what goes on during digs and exploring.
Friday – Rockhound Finds of the Week 💎Community members share their best finds from the week.
Saturday – Live Dig Saturday ⛏️Field trips, live digs, prospecting adventures, and outdoor exploration. (Working in progress)
Sunday – Workshop Sunday ⚒️📹Rock cutting, polishing, lapidary work, and shop videos.
Quick Community Update
As we build out the weekly schedule for the community, I just want to let everyone know that weekend posts may sometimes change. Since a lot of the content involves field trips, rock shows, prospecting, and outdoor digging, the timing can shift depending on weather, travel, or where I am exploring that weekend.
I’ll always do my best to stick to the weekly schedule, but there may be times when things move around a little.
I’ll also be organizing the community page more soon so everything is easier to find. Instead of everything being in the general discussion, posts will start going into the right sections (education, finds, tips, workshop videos, etc.) so members can quickly find the content they’re looking for.
The goal is to keep the community clean, organized, and easy to explore while we continue to grow together.
