Hopefully getting back to regular posting this week. Sorry for the short hiatus, I got pulled into overnight shifts, but I’ve got this weekend and part of next week off so I can finally sit down and start building out the beginning of the genetics course properly.
I’ll also be adding more material into the premium section, with open discussion threads for the whole group so we can actually dig into things instead of just posting at each other.
I did end up missing Harlequin Nationals this weekend. Had two buyers back out on cage purchases without saying a word, which killed my timeline and the funds I needed to make the trip. That one stung a bit.
On the upside, we’ve got more babies on the ground. Martha Washington kindled late last night. She had a rough start getting things moving, but she built an excellent nest and pulled through it. I’m planning to post a bit of real-world insight on helping does through difficult kindlings, because that first stage can go sideways fast if you don’t recognize what’s happening.
I’ll get photos of her and the litter up when I’m home.
Please post any questions in the.group . This works best when everyone is participating..
