Hey soul family,
Today’s journal prompt landed heavy: “What am I ready to release to make space for me?”
As I wrote, I realized it’s not just one thing — it’s the layers I’ve been carrying: old obligations, habits, mental loops, and unspoken “shoulds” that no longer serve me. Patterns of comfort over discipline, moving in haste instead of alignment, and trusting too easily without pausing. Even isolation and self-imposed restrictions — things I built to feel safe — are holding me back.
I caught myself thinking about all the things I thought I needed to feel deeply about — relationships, expectations, emotional debts — and realizing I don’t feel them anymore. I’ve outgrown survival mode. And that’s scary in its own way. That empty space, that void, is actually room. Room to reclaim my energy, my power, and my life without overextending or carrying what isn’t mine.
What I’m releasing today:
- The need to overperform to be seen
- Old cycles of guilt or obligation
- Emotional patterns that no longer serve me
- Comfort disguised as safety
I’m choosing instead to:
- Move intentionally, not impulsively
- Trust myself fully, without outside validation
- Maintain boundaries that support, not isolate
- Show up fully as a human — flawed, evolving, real
Release isn’t dramatic. It’s subtle. It’s noticing that you’ve already outgrown certain energy and making the conscious choice to step forward without it. It’s about creating space for alignment, growth, and joy.
✨ Reflection questions for today:
- What energy, expectation, or habit are you holding onto that’s already over?
- Where have comfort or familiarity been slowing you down?
- How can you create space for yourself without guilt or fear?
