Just wanted to share a quick story from yesterday that reminded me why consistency is everything in this game.
Two years ago, I spoke to an owner who showed interest in selling but then changed his mind. Since then, I’ve called him every single month. Not once did he answer. Not once did he call back.
Yesterday, out of the blue, he called me:
“Hey mate, sorry I’ve seen all your calls. I just wasn’t ready to sell… but I am now.”
That one call made it all worth it.
If I had stopped calling, I would’ve been forgotten.
But because I stayed consistent, I stayed top of mind.
Lesson? Never assume it’s a no. Stay visible. Stay consistent. Stay in the game.
