Explore Fabric Dojo! is happening in 4 days
Hello to Microsoft Fabric Community!!
Hello everyone, Glad I landed here, after watching @Will Needham's DP-600 Youtube course. Thank you Will for the courses and this community. I am a beginner to the world of data and my day job is into Cloud Presales, mainly focused on Google Cloud and Azure IaaS. My near future role demands me to be data proficient as well and mainly on Azure's Data stack. For now I will just skim through the DP-600 course at 1.5x speed and then come back to this course when I cover the basics like Excel, Power BI, SQL and Python. Really happy to have registered with this community and looking forward to dive-deep into Microsoft Fabric. I aspire to transition into a Data Engineering role in coming years.
Transitioning to the world of data
Hi everyone, I come from a web development background and have recently been trying to shift into data analytics. I passed the PL300 certification a month ago and, along the way, have done some case studies on Datacamp. I am currently studying for the DP-600, which is how I discovered this community. I am currently halfway through the Fabric Foundations course. Questions: 1. The second half of the course goes into technical details regarding Dataflow Gen2, Data Pipelines - although I can somewhat make sense of what is being taught, these concepts are currently foreign to me, having never worked in Microsoft's data technologies before. I am curious to see if you have any suggestions on how to proceed. Should i focus on filling my knowledge gaps (how?) or just continue with this course? 2. What is the best way on the market to learn Fabric practically hands-on from scratch? I have seen the Fabric Dojo community, but what I am trying to do is learn to use it in a way it would be used in an actual job setting. @Will Needham - given your extensive experience, it would be very beneficial if you could give me your thoughts regarding these. Thanks!
AI Training
Thanks to the authors of this course , really helpful to get a overall understanding of the MS Fabric. I am wondering if Any one has done a learning for AI Inbuilt capabilities and if there is any suggestion where to start.

DP-600 OR DP-700?
Hi Will et al., I hope you're all doing well! I had a quick question that I’m hoping you might be able to help with. I’m relatively new to the world of Fabric and haven’t yet taken either the DP-600 or DP-700 certification exams. I was wondering—would you recommend starting with the DP-600, or is it reasonable to go straight for the DP-700? Also, does one of these certifications carry more weight or recognition in the data engineering space? Thanks in advance for your insights! Best regards, James C
