Be consistent
The number one thing to make progress in Fitness is consistency. Even if that consistency is at a low intensity and only a couple times a week. If you can consistently work out twice a week for years, you will be in better shape than the person that tried to do a get fit quick routine and inevitably burns out because they are trying to do too much. Find a routine or workout that you enjoy doing and put it in your schedule. Being healthy and fit doesn't always have to be intense. You will make progress through a long period of consistency.
