With a background in R&D (research and development), I have been helping CEOs and staff with their technical thinking for over forty years. However, the truth is that in most cases, I have found it was not so much technical thinking as a therapeutic process, where I assist colleagues in thinking through what they are doing. This is because I don't have all the answers; what I have is the ability to break things down into smaller parts and then steer the conversation.
